Here are the Lehigh Valley bird sightings for the week ended April 4. The list was compiled by Dave DeReamus, of the Eastern PA Birdline, which is sponsored by the Lehigh Valley Audubon Society.

Red-necked Grebe, 1 on April 2.
Great Egret, 1 on April. 2.

Albert Road Ponds, Northampton County
Redhead, 3 on April 2.

Bethlehem Township, Northampton County
Blue-winged Teal, 1 on April 3 at St. Luke's Anderson Campus.

Green Pond, Northampton County
Double-crested Cormorant and Killdeer.

Bethlehem, Northampton County
Peregrine Falcon, 2 during the past week.

Hanover Township, Northampton County
House Wren, 1 on April 3.

Leaser Lake, Lehigh County

Greater Scaup, 1 through March 28 at Cedar Creek Park (Lake Muhlenberg).

Green Lane Reservoir, Montgomery County
Redhead, 6 on March 29 at Walt Road.

Gilbertsville, Montgomery County
Bullock's Oriole, 1 through April 3 at Oberholtzer Road.

Peace Valley Park, Bucks County
Common Merganser, approximately 1,200 on March 27.
Red-necked Grebe, 6 on March 27.
Lesser Black-backed Gull, 89 on March 27.
Red-headed Woodpecker, 1 through the past week.
Also seen: Red-breasted Merganser, Common Loon, Double-cresed Cormorant, Northern Rough-winged Swallow, Gray Catbird, Eastern Towhee, and Swamp and Savannah sparrows.

Also seen at various locations this past week: Osprey, Bald Eagle, Tree Swallow and Eastern Phoebe.
