Eastern Meadowlark. The Eastern Meadowlark is rarely seen locally in the winter, according to "Birds of the Lehigh Valley and Vicinity," a guidebook published by the Lehigh Valley Audubon Society.

Red-tailed Hawk (a dark morph), 1 through February 12.

Rough-legged Hawk, 1 on February 9.
Brown Thrasher, 1 on February 9.

Gilbertsville, Montgomery County
Bullock's Oriole, 1 though February 8 along Oberholtzer Road.
Peace Valley Park, Bucks County
Red-headed Woodpecker, 1 continues to be seen near Angler's Pier.
Also seen: Red-shouldered Hawk, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Gray Catbird, Eastern Towhee, and Fox and Swamp sparrows.
Also seen at several locations this week: Bald Eagles, Hermit Thrush and Chipping Sparrow.
