Lehigh Valley bird sightings for the week of May 29

Here are the Lehigh Valley bird sightings for the week ended May 29. The list was compiled by Dave DeReamus, of the Eastern PA Birdline, which is sponsored by the Lehigh Valley Audubon Society.

Bear Swamp, Northampton County
Gray-cheecked Thrush, 2 on May 23.

Beltzville State Park, Carbon County
Common Tern, 1 on May 22.

Lehigh Gap Nature Center, Carbon County
Blue Grosbeak, 1 on May 23.

Lehigh Furnace Gap, Lehigh County
Olive-sided Flycatcher, 1 on May 23.

Trexler Park, Lehigh County
Ruffed Grouse, 1 on May 25.

Peace Valley Park, Bucks County
Prothonotary Warbler, 2 continued to be seen during the past week.

Pine Siskins continued to be reported at several sites during the past week.
