Here are the Lehigh Valley bird sightings through July 17. The list was compiled by Dave DeReamus, of the Eastern PA Birdline, which is sponsored by the Lehigh Valley Audubon Society.

Plainfield Township, Northampton County
Bald Eagle, 4 on July 5.

Bethlehem, Northampton County
Peregrine Falcon, 1 on July 4 and 2 on July 5.

Wild Creek Reservoir, Carbon County
Common Loon, July 7.

Whitehall, Lehigh County
Blue Grosbeak, 1 on July 3 along Bridge Street.

Emmaus, Lehigh County
Greenfinch, 1 on July 8 (probably an escaped bird).

Green Lane Reservoir, Montgomery County
Prothonotary Warbler, 2 on July 4 at the Walt Road area.

Peace Valley Park, Bucks County
Yellow-crowned Night Heron, 1 on July 5.
Prothonotary Warbler, 3 during the week of July 17.
