Program on 'Animal Senses' on October 11

Be sure to attend a program on "Animals and their Amazing Senses" on Friday, October 11, at the Lehigh Valley Audubon Society's monthly meeting in the Wildlands Conservancy Education Building near Emmaus. The speaker will be Kathy Uhler of the Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.

The program begins at 7 p.m., but the doors will open early for refreshments and bird chat.

The Wildlands Conservancy Education Center is located at 3701 Orchid Place near Emmaus. If you're traveling from Allentown, take Cedar Crest Boulevard (Route 29) south about 1.3 miles from the Interstate 78 exit. Look for the intersection of Riverbend Road. Turn left on Riverbend, then travel another 0.8 mile onto Orchard Place and proceed 0.3 mile down the hill. At the small bridge, turn right and cross the bridge into the Sanctuary. Parking is available behind the barn near the Education Center. Handicap access is available outside the Education Center.
