Lehigh Valley bird sightings for the week ended December 13

Dave DeReamus, of the Eastern PA Birdline, compiled these bird sightings for the greater  Lehigh Valley area for the week that ended December 13. The Birdline is sponsored by the Lehigh Valley Audubon Society.
Snowy Owl

Saylorsburg, Monroe County
Glaucous Gull, 1 seen on December 7 at Saylor's Lake.

Beltzville State Park, Carbon County
Long-tailed Duck, 1 on December 12.
Bonaparte's Gull, 1 on December 12.
Also seen: Lesser Scaup, Pied-billed Grebe, Bald Eagle, Hermit Thrush, and Fox and Field sparrows.

New Smithville, Lehigh County
Snowy Owl, 1 on December 7 (across from the Peterbilt Truck Stop).

Fogelsville Quarry, Lehigh County
Ross's Goose, 1 on December 7.
Tundra Swan, 5 on December 7.

Fogelsville, Lehigh County
Snowy Owl, 1 on December 8 through December 10 (along Route 100 just north of Route 222).

Allentown, Lehigh County
Snowy Owl, 1 on December 5 (at the Queen City Airport).
Rufous Hummingbird, 1 through December 12 (in the backyard of a house on North 21st Street).
Peregrine Falcon, 1 on December 9 (at the PPL Building).

Alburtis, Lehigh County
(along Smith Lane)
Snow Bunting, 5 on December 10.
Horned Lark, 100 or more on December 10.
Also seen: Savannah Sparrow.

Palm, Montgomery County
Brewer's Blackbird, 1 on December 9 (amid a flock of other "blackbirds").

Peace Valley Park, Bucks County
Greater Scaup, 1 on December 7.
Long-tailed Duck, 1 on December 4.
Red-breasted Merganser, 8 on December 4.
Red-headed Woodpecker, 1 during the past week at Angler's Pier
Also seen: Cackling Goose, Ruddy Duck, Pied-billed Grebe, Double-crested Cormorant, Bald Eagle, Red-shouldered Hawk, Merlin, Great and Lesser Black-backed Gull, Winter Wren, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Hermit Thrush, Eastern Towhee, and Field and Swamp sparrows
