The feeder is designed to hold two standard-size suet cakes back to back so you can offer birds a variety of food.

Worry no more about squirrels or nuisance birds such as starlings. The cage is sturdy 16-gauge vinyl-coated wire mesh with 1½-inch openings. Smaller songbirds such as nuthatches, chickadees and Downy Woodpeckers can enter and exit with ease.

The top and bottom are powder-coated metal in an attractive green finish. A locking mechanism at the top provides further protection from the prying grasp of squirrels. The feeder is 14 inches in diameter, broad enough to keep mischievous squirrels from pawing even a single morsel of suet.

You can hang the feeder from a tree limb or a shepherd's hook. The feeder has a vinyl-coated wire cable for hanging purposes.
