The Lehigh Valley Audubon Society is sponsoring a birding trip to the Scotts Mountain hawk watch at the Merrrill Creek Reservoir in New Jersey on Saturday, September 27.
The trip will be a great opportunity to watch for Sharp-shinned and Cooper's hawks. There also is a possibility that you might see Merlins and Peregrine Falcons as well.
Meet at 7:30 a.m. at the Park and Ride facility on Emrick Boulevard, located off William Penn Highway and Route 33 in Bethlehem Township, Northampton County. Dave DeReamus will lead the trip. For information, call him at 610-252-0893.
