The Lehigh Valley Audubon Society is sponsoring "Bird Photography 101—A Beginner's Course" on Friday, October 10, at the Wildlands Conservancy Education Center building in Emmaus.
Society member Scott Burnet will discuss the basic tools and techniques you'll need to enhance your birding experience by capturing birds' beauty in pictures. The program begins at 7 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
Directions: The Wildlands Conservancy is located at the Pool Wildlife Sanctuary at 3701 Orchid Place just north of Emmaus. From Route 29 (South Cedar Crest Boulevard), turn onto Riverbend Road (if you're heading from Emmaus, turn right; if you're heading from Route 222, turn left.) On Riverbend Road, watch for the right turn to enter the Wildlands Conservancy.
