Here are the Lehigh Valley bird sightings for the week ended May 3. The list was compiled by Dave DeReamus, of the Eastern PA Birdline, which is sponsored by the Lehigh Valley Audubon Society.

Other New ArrivalsRuby-throated Hummingbird, Eastern Kingbird, Red-eyed and Warbling Vireo, Gray Catbird, Baltimore and Orchard orioles, and warblers that included Yellow, Blue-winged, Prairie, Ovenbird, Northern Parula and American Redstart. A Bald Eagle was seen at several sites this past week. Last but not least, a little farther afield, a Swallow-tailed Kite was seen passing over Hawk Mountain Sanctuary on April 28.
