New Product: Squirrel Buster Standard

Brome Bird Care has just released the latest in its line of squirrel-proof feeders. The Squirrel Buster Standard is based on the same kind of patented technology as Brome’s larger feeders. When a squirrel lands on the Squirrel Buster Standard, its weight automatically closes the seed ports, denying access to the seed without harming the squirrel in any way. After repeated unsuccessful attempts, many a squirrel simply gives up trying. The feeder is chew proof and rust proof.

You can even regulate the adjusting mechanism to keep out larger nuisance birds, such as grackles. The smaller birds, such as chickadees, White-breasted Nuthatches, Goldfinches and Purple Finches, remain welcome. The metal ring that serves as a perch has one major advantage: It enables Northern Cardinals to feed (cardinals have short necks, and need to eat head-on). The feeder can accommodate nearly all kinds of seed: safflower, shelled or unshelled sunflower, peanut chips, and a wide variety of seed mixes.

The Squirrel Buster Standard fills by twisting off the top, much like opening a child-proof medicine bottle. The feeder is designed to dismantle easily for cleaning and for replacement of components. Its ventilation system helps keep seed fresher and dryer longer. The ports are designed to control seed flow, avoiding needless spillage. The Squirrel Buster Standard can be hung just about anywhere—from a tree limb, from a shepherd’s hook or from a wall bracket attached to your deck, house or fence.

Brome stands behind its feeders with a guarantee on parts at no charge to customers. We are a Brome dealer, so if you have any problem, we can help you.

We’ve had plenty of favorable comments from customers about other Brome Squirrel Buster products, including the Plus, the Classic, the Peanut and the Finch feeders. We’re certain the Squirrel Buster Standard will get equal praise. The next time you visit the store, ask for a demonstration.
