New Product: Feather Guard

How many times has a bird crashed into your window, thinking that its reflection was vegetation or the sky? Make windows safer for birds. The Feather Guard warns birds away from windows naturally. It consists of brightly colored feathers, each 5 to 6 inches long, strung together by a translucent fish line. The dangling feathers sway in the breeze. The line is attached to the outside of the window by suction cups. The Feather Guard is both decorative and effective.

A customer who installed the product on a trial basis several months ago reports that it kept a male cardinal from repeatedly thrashing himself against a window. The cardinal apparently mistook his own image as that of a rival. Once the Feather Guard was put up, the cardinal immediately stopped attacking. The Feather Guard has stayed in place throughout this winter's cold weather and strong winds.
