We have two styles, a hummingbird and a butterfly. Both are crafted from a fast-growing species of Albesia, a deciduous tree found in tropical regions of Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Madagascar.

Skilled Indonesian craftsmen carve the wood into 3-D reliefs of the hummingbird and butterfly, then paint them in nontoxic colors. A polyurethane coating protects the wood from inclement weather. The thermometer is attached to the window using two suction cups. The cups are durable, and the nice thing about them is that they can be attached and will stay put even during cold weather.

The thermometers are mercury-free and measure in both Fahrenheit and Celsius. They'd be a great convenience at your kitchen window or sunroom.
