Lehigh Valley bird sightings for April 12

Here are the Lehigh Valley bird sightings for the week ending April 5. The list was provided by Dave DeReamus, of the Eastern PA Birdline, which is sponsored by the Lehigh Valley Audubon Society.

Yellow-throated Warbler, 1 seen on April 11 near the dam

Rusty Blackbird, 1 seen on March 31
Also seen: Double-crested Cormorant, Bonaparte's Gull, Barn and Rough-winged
Swallow, Brown Thrasher and Fox Sparrow.

The Lehigh Valley Audubon Society plans a field trip to the East Bangor Dam on April 20. Meet at the Giant grocery store parking lot in Wind Gap, just north of the Route 512 exist off Route 33. Dave DeReamus will lead the trip.
